Hi Friends, I'm Rachel!

I'm the wife-half of the Happily Ever Ginger duo. Contrary to the name, you won’t be hearing much from the husband-half, though you will probably hear a lot about him. We got married in July of 2014, and have absolutely loved getting to do life together ever since.

Around here, we speak truth about life, love and Jesus, with a little bit of health, beauty and books thrown in to the mix. We drink lots of coffee, live in comfy clothes, and fully embrace the messy bun. We do kindness and honesty, and joyfully invite the Lord to be a part of all that we do. I pray that this space is one rich with inspiration and friendship; that it overflows with encouragement and grace, and fuels creativity and motivation to live life the way God intended for it to be lived – nothing but loved! May it open your eyes to the beauty that surrounds you and the passions and callings God has placed on your heart.

Now that you're here, I guess I should tell you a little about us. Cameron and I met in 2012, and are now enjoying life as husband and wife with our beautiful baby girl, Briella Ensley, and our lab/blue-heeler pup, Lucy. I have a heart to love the unloved, and Cameron has a heart for troubled youth and the underdogs. Our faith is something that we grow in every day, and we are most definitely still figuring life out, but we are so excited that you get to come alongside and learn and grow with us as we embark on our next adventures.

Me? I was born and raised in southern California but have done most of my growing up here in Texas. I love Jesus, chai lattes and a good book. I dream of a Hogwarts education and the sweet simplicity of Shire living. I am a living room Family Feud contestant, hockey and baseball fan, and amateur hand-letterer. I hope to one day be a health & fitness guru and a cheery morning person, but for now, you’ll usually find me pigging out on all the treats and struggling to adult before 8 am. I have many dreams, goals and ambitions that I hope to authentically live out and share with you in this space; I pray they help you in some way, and encourage you to live yours out as well.

I’d love to get to know you! Grab a cup of coffee and stick around for a while. I'm so thankful that you're here!

xo. Rachel
